The Pearl Within the Oyster
Long ago, a wise master said to his students,
"A pearl lies hidden inside an ordinary-looking oyster. Most people walk by, seeing only the rough shell, and miss the treasure within."
One student asked, "How do we find such pearls in life?"
The master replied,
"By looking beyond appearances — in people, in events, in yourself. True beauty and worth are often disguised. Patience, attention, and kindness are the eyes that see through the shell."
The students carried these words into their days, and the world appeared richer with every passing moment.
