First Android-powered Mobile makes debut in India
India's first Android-powered mobile phone comes in partnership with Airtel. A tablet-style device, compact and sleek is called HTC Magic. It provides good mobile Internet and multimedia experience. Customers enjoy free data download of 100MB per month for six months. The device feature include a 3.2 inch HVGA touch-screen display,a trackball for easy access and a 3.2 mega-pixel camera.
The Andorid OS offers a complete set of software for mobile devices: an operating system,middle ware and key mobile applications. It also has features of : Outlook synchronization, smart dialer and an onscreen keyboard with predictive text. Earlier Linux OS was integrated into Nokia mobiles.
