NATIONAL SUPERCOMPUTING MISSION (NSM) National Supercomputing Mission has been envisaged to empower the national academic and R&D institutions, spread across the country, by installing a vast supercomputing grid comprising of more than 70 high-performance computing facilities. RAPID ASSESSMENT SYSTEM

RAPID ASSESSMENT SYSTEM National e-Governance Division, a division of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has developed a Rapid Assessment System (RAS) for continuous feedback for e-services delivered by Government of India and State Governments. This system has multiple channels for receiving feedback and is backed by analytics. These analytics will help integrated departments for continuous system improvement and better governance. SINGLE WINDOW INTERFACE FOR TRADE (SWIFT) As part of the “Ease of Doing Business” initiatives, the Central Board of Excise & Customs, Government of India has taken up implementation of the Single Window Project to facilitate the Trading Aross Borders in India. The 'India Customs Single Window' would allow importers and exporters, the facility to lodge their clearance documents online at a single point only. Required permissions, if any, from other regulatory agencies would be obtained online without the trader having to approach these agencies. The Single Window Interface for Trade (SWIFT), would reduce interface with Governmental agencies, dwell time and the cost of doing business. Website: https://www.icegate.gov.in/SWIFT/

STATE WIDE AREA NETWORK

STATE WIDE AREA NETWORK The Government had approved the Scheme for establishing State Wide Area Networks (SWANs) across the country, in March, 2005 to be expended by the Department under Grant-in-Aid of Rs. 2,005 crore, over a period of five years. Under this Scheme, technical and financial assistance are being provided to the States/UTs for establishing SWANs to connect all State/UT Headquarters up to the Block level via District/ sub-Divisional Headquarters, in a vertical hierarchical structure with a minimum bandwidth capacity of 2 Mbps per link.
