Concept of Digital Public Goods Digital public goods (DPGs) are digital resources that are made available to everyone, free of charge, and without any restrictions on their use. They are designed to be accessible and usable by everyone, regardless of their location, income, or social status. Some examples of digital public goods include: Open-source software, such as Linux and Firefox. Open data sets, such as the Human Genome Project and the World Bank's Open Data Initiative. Digital infrastructure, such as the internet and the World Wide Web. Digital platforms, such as Wikipedia and GitHub. India Stack is a collection of digital public goods that are designed to help India achieve its goal of becoming a digitally empowered society. It consists of three main layers: Identity: The Aadhaar system provides a unique identification number to every Indian citizen. This number can be used to verify a person's identity and to access a variety of government and private services. Payment
