Vijaya Sannellappanavar Patil is a 2000 CSE graduate and completed her M.S in CS from USA. Her siblings Girija and Girish are also SDMCET alumni from 1997 batch. Vijaya has taught Computer Science at 2 Universities and has worked in companies like G.E. Healthcare and Quest Diagnostics for 2 decades in USA. She was awarded ‘Woman in higher education’ at The University of Akron USA and many recognitions in the corporate world for going ‘Above and beyond’ and for exceptional work and attitude. Vijaya also has been an enthusiastic interviewer and program host at USA based media company for the past 3 years having hosted 100+ guests on her various popular shows that put a spotlight on exceptional individuals from different parts of the World. In addition, she has continued her family legacy of distinguished free community service in the field of Yoga through Utsahi Yoga Foundation. 

Recently, Vijaya was honored with the ‘Community service award’ for the year 2023 in recognition of her leadership and outstanding contributions to the greater Dayton community in USA by India Club of greater Dayton at their annual gala. To Vijaya, serving others in ways we can is a duty, not an option.
