Word of Ram’s good fortune spread, and a group of thieves decided to steal the grain from him at night. Ram overheard their plan while passing by the village well, and he knew he had to act fast. That night, instead of worrying, he came up with a clever plan. He filled several large sacks with sand and placed them in his barn, while he quietly hid his grain in a safe corner of his home. When the thieves came later that night, they saw the sacks in the barn and assumed they were filled with grain. Without checking, they carried away the heavy sacks, thinking they had succeeded.
